Affordable Summer Swimwear with Walmart

Summer is finally here, and it’s officially swimsuit season!! Lord knows we can all have a bit of a love/hate relationship with swimsuit shopping, but I found SO MANY adorable swimsuits at Walmart this year for the best prices and have teamed up with them to share my favorites with you!

The most important thing when it comes to swimsuits is fit, and I could not BELIEVE how confident this suit made me! I would easily pay over $100 for this cute one piece, but I snagged it for only $29! I actually ended up with two suits (I’ll share the other one at the end of the post too) because I loved them both and couldn’t decide!

I was a little slow to come around to the one-piece trend last year, and now I can’t understand why. They are so incredibly comfortable and much easier to just relax/swim in without worrying that something is coming up too far or down too far or whatever! I love that this one shows just the right amount of skin while still keeping me super secure and allowing me to chase my niece/nephew around the pool all day!
For sizing reference, I did size up to a M in this one just for a little extra torso length and so that the bottoms wouldn’t be really tight on my hips (I typically wear M in bikini bottoms as well), and it fits like a dream! The back detail is adorable and also helps the straps stay really secure in the front.
The kimono, straw hat, and sandals were the perfect finishing touches! These studded sandals have been getting TONS of wear already and are great for the pool too since they’re slides and the bottoms are textured/easy to walk on when they’re wet.
